Skins Season 5 Preview. Is there ever going to be a skins season 5? Skins Series 5 to have a brand new cast. Jamie Brittain, co-creator of Skins, confirmed this morning on Twitter than Skins series 5, if it is commissioned, and they will hold open auditions for a new cast.
To clarify. Skins will hopefully have a fifth series, but we have not yet been re-commissioned. It will have a new cast. We will hold open auditions to cast it. I don’t know any details beyond that. We’re still working on series 4!
Filming of Season 4 is already underway. There will indeed be a Season 5 but with an all new cast as after Season 4 the current cast will leave like the did with the original cast after Seasons 1 & 2. After Season 4 i’m no longer watching as i’m sick of them changing the cast for every other new Season.
